UNDER AUGUST RAIN
Under August rain, I dance like mad
woman on street.
New York traffic forgotten forever.
Clothes drenched in cool warmth, like bathing under god.
I dance.
No
one can judge this.
It is not judgeable.
It is freedom, by water.
Freedom by impropriety
of wet shirt on bare-tanned skin.
Water soaks me and I am forever....
I am sky-water drenched godess, ever so light
and oblivious to peering eyes that wonder... "What is the matter with her?!"
And I smile... under August rain.
